Optional choices in the materials of construction for some products are 317L stainless steel or Hastelloy. And in addition to passivation, which removes surface contaminants and enhances the formation of a protective chromium oxide layer, Eagle also offers electropolishing. This process provides an ultra-clean finish that meets the highest pharmaceutical standards and increases corrosion resistance. Gasket options are another custom feature for Eagle Stainless’ pharmaceutical containers and bottles. In addition to the standard platinum-cured silicone gaskets, EPDM, PTFE, BUNA-N, Viton and other materials are available. These options, along with tri-clamp and lock lever options for closures, provide several ways to ensure air/water-tight seals. Accessories for Pharmaceutical Containers and Bottles
Eagle also specializes in the stainless steel accessories you need for your pharmaceutical containers and bottles. We offer endcaps and cap assemblies in type 316L Stainless Steel. Options include knob-handle sanitary tri-clamp endcaps (size 1/2′′ to 4′′); sanitary tri-clamp endcaps (sizes 1/2′′ to 12′′), custom-welded cap assemblies and machined cap assemblies. For clamps, we offer two-segment heavy-duty clamps, which are standard for BTB, PSF, and STB Series bottles, ASME clamps, and three-segment heavy-duty clamps. Torque nut and advantage wing nut options are also available. Sanitary sightglasses are another customizable accessory, for use as either a view port or a light port. These offer a one-piece design, with borosilicate glass fused to a metal ring. Slotted sightglasses and cordless tank illuminating devices are also available.
Eagle Stainless also manufacturers hose barbs, reducers, beakers, and ladles for your pharmaceutical container and production needs. Hose barbs constructed of 316L stainless steel are available in sizes from 1/8 ̋ to 3/4 ̋ with 1/2 ̋ or 3/4 ̋ tri-clamp connections. Concentric reducers made of 316L stainless steel are available in a variety of tri-clamp sizes. An electropolished finish is standard for both hose barbs and reducers. Beakers made from 316L stainless steel are available in capacities of 1, 2, 3, and 5 liters. They have solid bar sanitary handles, easy-pouring beaker-spouts, and graduation marks. Ladles are made of 304 Stainless Steel and have a pouring spout for easy transfer of pharmaceutical liquid or powder contents.
